HPE’s Presales Center partners with Account Managers, other Presales Teams, and Partners to assist customers with evaluating proposed solutions through functionality demos, workshops, proof‑of‑concepts, and scaling/performance testing. This role supports HPE’s growing North America Enterprise business across all industry and product segments, architecting and demonstrating solutions that achieve customer business outcomes within a technical domain or across a broader company portfolio with third‑party components.

The Technical Architect will convey complex technologies in a manner business leaders understand, and this position will be based in the Alpharetta, GA office, onsite five days a week.

• Facilitate and lead deep‑dive technology discussions with clients and account teams to build confidence and position the proposed solution.
• Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers through product/solution demos, workshops, etc., aimed at gaining customer mindshare.
• Build the testing environment (servers, storage, networking, software) and consult customers throughout the evaluation. Rack gear as necessary.
• Assist with infrastructure management needed for testing environments and remote access, and help with equipment inventory management.
• Focus on technical selling to customers and partners.

• Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 8+ years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling.
• 2+ industry‑standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience.
• Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful but not required.

• Experience leading solution configurations and overall architecture design, and creating, managing, and positioning demos and proofs‑of‑concept to meet customer requirements.
• Working knowledge of the as‑a‑service (aaS) business model, its value, and ecosystem, and how it drives strategic goals.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally across HPE to generate new revenue through increased subscription consumption and other aaS models.
• Persuasive discussion and questioning skills to support company viewpoint while respectfully challenging proposed solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with multiple products, solutions, tools, or services aligned to respective job responsibilities.
• Ability to deliver live demonstrations or walkthroughs of products, solutions, tools, or services to customers, partners, and stakeholders.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary based on geography, experience, education, and skill level.

The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
