Service Now Business Analyst

Location:
Alpharetta, GA – Day 1 Onsite

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for onboarding Services into Service Now.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and business stakeholders to define and refine processes, workflows, and service management practices.

3. Design and implement best-practice solutions on the Service Now platform, ensuring that the General Services stream aligns with organizational goals.

4. Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements.

5. Act as a liaison between the business teams and the technical team to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.

6. Analyze data and provide recommendations for system improvements and process automation within Service Now.

7. Support Service Now configuration and customization based on the requirements of the General Services stream.

8. Oversee testing and ensure that the system meets business expectations.

9. Provide training and user support to business users during and post-implementation phases.

10.Ensure project timelines are met, managing risks and issues proactively.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years of experience specifically working on Service Now implementations.

3. Proven experience with Service Now, especially in ITIL processes.

4. Strong understanding of ITIL processes, Service Management frameworks, and best practices.

5. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

6. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

7. Experience in leading teams, with the ability to mentor and guide junior business analysts.

8. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
