Position Summary
Seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Dev Ops tools, CI/CD automation, and scripting, along with solid expertise in middleware platforms such as Web Logic and JBoss. The ideal candidate will drive automation initiatives, streamline deployment processes, and support enterprise-grade middleware environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and YAML-based workflows.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable workflows to improve deployment efficiency.
Build and maintain scripts (Shell, Bash, Python, YAML, Power Shell) for automation and operational tasks.
Manage and support middleware platforms including:
Web Logic 12c / 14c
JBoss 7.4/8.1
Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and Dev Ops best practices.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with Dev Ops tools and automation:
Git Hub Actions
YAML scripting and workflow design
Strong scripting expertise (mandatory):
Shell / Bash / YAML
Python or Power Shell
Hands-on experience with middleware technologies:
Web Logic 12c / 14c
JBoss 7.4/8.1
Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices
Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues
Preferred Skills
Exposure to Azure Cloud (AKS, App Services, or Azure Dev Ops)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker. Kubernetes)
