Data Solutions Architect​/Data SME

12 Months contract with possible extension.

Location: Roswell, GA

Mode: Work from Office (4 days)

• Design scalable and efficient data architecture, including data models, storage solutions, and data integration processes.
• Develop data management frameworks and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
• Create and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation.
• Work closely with business leaders and data‑savvy colleagues to understand business problems, desired outcomes, and translate requirements into data solutions using a technology stack.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers to implement data solutions.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectives.
• Collaborate with machine learning and AI teams to ensure data architecture supports scalable model training, inference, and deployment.
• Design and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions to meet the requirements of ML/AI workflows.
• Ensure real‑time and batch processing capabilities align with operational needs of ML/AI.
• Hands‑on implementation of data architecture projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Monitor and maintain data systems for optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies in data architecture and management.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within existing data infrastructure.
• Promote best practices in data architecture and data management throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, or data management.
• Strong proficiency in working with large, complex data sets.

• Proficiency with big‑data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka) and data‑visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency in programming languages: SQL, Python.
• Strong grasp of data governance principles, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
