Location: Roswell, GA
Mode: Work from Office (4 days)
Key Responsibilities- Design scalable and efficient data architecture, including data models, storage solutions, and data integration processes.
- Develop data management frameworks and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
- Create and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation.
- Work closely with business leaders and data‑savvy colleagues to understand business problems, desired outcomes, and translate requirements into data solutions using a technology stack.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers to implement data solutions.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business objectives.
- Collaborate with machine learning and AI teams to ensure data architecture supports scalable model training, inference, and deployment.
- Design and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions to meet the requirements of ML/AI workflows.
- Ensure real‑time and batch processing capabilities align with operational needs of ML/AI.
- Hands‑on implementation of data architecture projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Monitor and maintain data systems for optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies in data architecture and management.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within existing data infrastructure.
- Promote best practices in data architecture and data management throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy and security regulations, and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, or data management.
- Strong proficiency in working with large, complex data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL, No
SQL, and relational databases (e.g., Mongo
DB, MySQL, Postgre
SQL). - Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience designing modern data lake architectures.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift or Google Big Query.
- Expertise in ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) and data integration frameworks.
- Proficiency with big‑data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka) and data‑visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficiency in programming languages: SQL, Python.
- Strong grasp of data governance principles, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, data management, or a related role.
- Professional certifications in data architecture or related fields are preferably held.
- Experience with machine learning and advanced analytics.
