VP, Cloud Agile Lead

Role Summary

The VP, Engineering Cloud Agile Lead will coordinate multiple Agile Scrum/Kanban teams and testing resources to execute Cloud migration initiatives within the Engineering Cloud Migration journey. The role collaborates with release train engineers, scrum masters, product owners, product managers, and business leaders to lead cross‑team cloud migration projects across the Engineering roadmap.

• Support Agile Scrum teams through critical dependency commitments and Program‑Risk mitigation/closure.
• Drive requirements, testing, and production validation with strong communication, analytical, tactical, and technical skills.
• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of application release management, outage management, and change processes and standards.
• Assist in managing the Program Increment (PI) planning process, including Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, prioritization, and coordination with other ARTs.
• Perform day‑to‑day people management: communicate with teams, coach, give feedback, and conduct performance management.
• Lead end‑to‑end cloud migration projects: assessment, planning, migration, and post‑migration support.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application owners, and compliance to ensure smooth migration and regulatory compliance.
• Design and implement Data Center Extension strategies for hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop migration documentation, best practices, and runbooks to streamline future initiatives.
• Monitor and resolve issues related to cloud migration and Data Center Extension to maintain uptime and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and training on cloud platforms and migration tools.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools suitable for the financial services environment.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of technology experience, or high school/GED with 15+ years of IT experience.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Proven experience in Data Center Extension and hybrid cloud architecture design.
• Extensive experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) with Jira and Jira Align.
• Ability to understand technical requirements, manage resources, vendors, and test efforts.
• Track record of leading and executing critical business initiatives on time and within budget.

• SAFe Certified Scrum Master/Release Train Engineer.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a customer "can do" attitude.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in the financial services industry with knowledge of regulatory and security requirements.
• Performance tuning and cost optimization in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.

Salary range:  –  USD annually, eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Compensation is adjusted for market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
