Position Summary
Head of Platform Product & Program Management – Chief Architect of the Sovereign Platform Roadmap for Scientific Games’ Data & AI Platform and Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities- Define, prioritize, and evolve the Data & AI Platform product strategy.
- Lead and maintain the definitive Platform Roadmap, ensuring alignment with commercial data product ambitions.
- Translate commercial data product requirements into platform capabilities, coordinating with Product Owners and technical teams.
- Oversee agile processes (sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog grooming) for the Platform and Data Science organizations.
- Manage a high‑performing Program Management team to deliver platform work streams across hubs.
- Track and report platform velocity, sprint health, and lead time to value.
- Design and optimize the semantic layer, self‑service reporting tools, and self‑service tooling to enable analysts and non‑technical users.
- Ensure production stability, reliability, and quality of platform components for real‑time ML products.
- Serve as the primary technical diplomat, integrating the Sovereign Platform with the broader Scientific Games ecosystem.
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Product or Program Management, owning roadmaps for large‑scale Data or Cloud platforms.
- Proven ability to translate complex business goals into multi‑year technical roadmaps that drive engineering success.
- Deep expertise in managing global, distributed engineering teams using agile practices.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially between extraction, platform, and application teams.
- Architectural intuition around the Databricks/Lakehouse ecosystem, Medallion Architecture, and enterprise data platform design.
- Mastery of MLOps, unity catalog management, and medallion lifecycle automation.
- Master’s degree (preferred) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
