Are you looking for a Client Facing Data Scientist role to help drive innovation in the fraud detection space? As a collaborative Data Scientist you will use and suggest new tools to optimize models and policies leveraging thousands of data points from a variety of Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions productions including Threat Metrix, Emailage, Behavio Sec, Fraud Intelligence, Phone Finder and others on the Dynamic Decision Platform.

Responsibilities
  • Analytics:
    Use and suggest new tools and scripts to optimize models and policies leveraging thousands of data points from the Threat Metrix Digital Identity Network as well as other Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions products on the Dynamic Decision Platform.
  • Consulting:
    Scope, plan and deliver customer focused projects including proof of values, proactive analytics, go‑lives, optimizations, and custom models.
  • Innovation:
    Inspire and support research that further improves the capabilities and tools available within the team.
  • Presentation:
    Clearly explain complex patterns of behavior using data and models in a simple manner to non‑technical audiences.
  • Best Practice:
    Develop and maintain strong best practices for the team to further scale and grow and help streamline deliverables.
  • Collaborate:
    Collaborate with Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions teams including Products, Engineering, Sales and colleagues to continually share and redefine best practices and help shape and improve our products.
What you’ll be doing
  • Stay ahead of the industry trends by continuously thinking of new ways to apply our tools and solutions to customer problems across different industries.
  • Help the team by thinking outside the box.
  • Scope, plan, and deliver on customer analytical requests.
  • Help the team deliver complex analytics and difficult customer problems.
  • Use your strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel and LUA plus quantitative skills to deliver insight which will help capture evolving fraudster behaviors.
  • Ability to quickly learn about new tools to help the team with their deliverables.
  • Be constantly curious and have strong problem‑solving skills to help transform uncertainty into value‑add opportunities for our customers.
  • Use your strong attention to detail and ability to craft a story through data, delivering industry‑leading presentations for external and executive audiences.
  • Leverage BI tools to identify and respond to anomalies and emerging industry trends (e.g. Super Set, Power

    BI, Snowflake, CoPilot, Jupyter).
  • Build an extensive knowledge of cybercrime and become an SME for all industries that we support (Financial Services, E‑commerce, Gaming, Telecommunications).
  • Employ your multi‑tasking and prioritization skills to excel in a fast‑paced environment with frequently changing customer priorities.
Requirements
  • Experience with Git and Jira to help guide and scope research projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Excel and LUA.
  • Quantitative skills and the ability to produce insight that captures evolving fraudster behaviors.
  • Strong presentation skills for non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to craft a story through data.
  • Knowledge of cybercrime and familiarity with industries such as Financial Services, E‑commerce, Gaming, Telecommunications.
  • Multi‑tasking and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.

U.S. national base pay range: $115,400 - $192,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
