* Accounting Technical Support Associate
** About your role:*
* As an Accounting Technical Support Associate, you will serve as a primary resource for clients using Fiserv financial accounting solutions in banking environments. You will work directly with client finance, treasury, and operations teams, as well as internal product and technical partners, to resolve application issues, explain accounting-related functionality, and support accurate day-to-day financial processing. Your work helps clients maintain confidence in critical accounting and reporting operations.
** What you'll do:*
* + Serve as a primary point of contact for external clients and internal partners regarding application questions, issue resolution, and product support needs
+ Research reported issues, perform diagnostic analysis, and determine appropriate resolutions for application and accounting-related problems
+ Execute database queries and diagnostic scripts to collect information needed for troubleshooting and issue analysis
+ Validate that reported issues are resolved to client satisfaction before closing support inquiries
+ Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and document corrective actions to help prevent recurrence
+ Escalate issues to the appropriate internal teams when additional technical or product support is required
+ Participate in user acceptance testing and review product documentation to support quality and usability
+ Provide client feedback to product managers, business analysts, and developers regarding product functionality and enhancement opportunities
** Experience you'll need to have:*
* + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
+ 4+ years of experience in application support, technical implementation, accounting operations, or a related client-facing support role within financial services, banking, or financial technology
+ 4+ years of experience working with financial accounting concepts such as general ledger, chart of accounts, accounts payable, fixed assets, financial reporting, or banking operations
+ 4+ years of experience troubleshooting system issues, analyzing root causes, and communicating resolutions to internal and external stakeholders
+ Experience using Microsoft SQL Server queries or similar relational database query tools to support analysis, troubleshooting, or diagnostics
+ Ability to explain accounting concepts, system behavior, and issue resolution steps clearly to clients and cross-functional partners
** Experience that would be great to have:*
* + Experience supporting financial accounting software in a banking environment
+
Experience with Fiserv accounting or banking solutions
+ Experience working in virtual environments
+
Experience with user acceptance testing and product documentation review
** How you'll work:*
* + This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
+ This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
+ You will work an assigned schedule of 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; however, this position requires flexibility in work hours and may rotate with other staff members to cover extended support hours and provide on-call and after-hours support on a rotation basis
** Travel:
** This role requires occasional travel (up to 10%).
