Job Description & How to Apply Below

On-Site | 4 Days in Office + Fridays Remote

Moto Rad is a global automotive aftermarket parts manufacturer seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a people-first, process-driven role: you will partner with stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, engineering, and supply chain to understand how the business actually runs, document end-to-end processes, and translate that knowledge into clear requirements that drive data, system, and process improvements.

You will operate as a hands-on problem-solver to standardize workflows across our global footprint (US, Israel, Germany, Mexico).

Role Summary

You will report to the Director of BI and work closely with the data engineering and analytics functions, but your primary value will come from asking the right business questions, mapping the answers, and owning the requirements that flow into our data products and operational systems. The ideal candidate is an excellent listener and comfortable challenging stakeholders.

This role requires genuine curiosity. Friction points and inefficiencies will not always be reported or obvious. This person is expected to proactively notice where things are harder than they should be, ask why, and follow through on fixing it without waiting to be asked.

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into clear functional requirements, dashboards, KPIs, and process improvements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies including AI agents, workflow automation, RPA, and low-code platforms to identify where they can eliminate manual effort or improve decision-making.
  • Map and document end-to-end business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, master data maintenance, warranty and returns, and inventory movement across multiple ERP environments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow standardization across global business units.
  • Investigate operational issues by partnering with stakeholders and validating business processes against ERP data and system transactions.
  • Document business processes, SOPs, and decision rules in a way that is consumable by both end users and AI agents (clear, structured, and version-controlled).
  • Facilitate change management for process improvements by communicating changes, training users, and following through to confirm adoption.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting and improving end-to-end processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or master data workflows.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Priority, SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar), including implementations, integrations, or process improvement initiatives. Ability to navigate ERP transactions and use SQL to analyze data, validate processes, and identify root causes of operational issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and drive process improvements across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments with exposure to production, inventory, shipping, invoicing, customer service, or related operational processes.
Core Skills
  • Process mapping: BPMN, swim lane diagrams, value stream mapping.
  • Requirements elicitation and documentation: structured interviewing, user stories, business requirements documents.
  • Root cause analysis: 5 Whys, fishbone, process walk-throughs.
  • SQL and ERP data analysis: writing queries and navigating ERP systems to confirm what the data shows and flag process gaps.
  • Stakeholder facilitation: running workshops, driving consensus, managing competing priorities.
  • Change management: communication planning, training, adoption tracking.
  • Cross-cultural collaboration: working effectively with international teams across the US, Israel, Mexico, and Europe.
  • Critical thinking: connecting information across systems, departments, and geographies to form well-reasoned conclusions.
