We are hiring a talented Workday Adaptive Planning Techno-Functional Consultant.

Location:

Atlanta, GA preferred. Engagement Type:
Contract.

Must-Have Requirements:

• At least 1–2 Workday Adaptive Planning implementations
• Candidates must have been involved in real Adaptive implementation work, not just general Workday support.
• Experience can include implementation, configuration, testing, reporting, go-live, or post-go-live stabilization.
• Techno-functional Workday Adaptive experience
• Ability to understand both the business process and system configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Adaptive models, sheets, assumptions, calculations, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
• Business-facing experience
• Must be comfortable working directly with Finance, FP&A, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Should be able to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into Adaptive enhancements.
• Experience working with implementation partners
• Candidate should have experience partnering with implementation vendors, internal IT, and business teams.
• This person will need to understand what has already been configured and help SAIA transition from implementation partner ownership to internal support.
• Atlanta, GA or local market availability
• Please prioritize consultants located in Atlanta, GA or nearby. Local candidates will be preferred, especially if the client requires onsite or hybrid collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and understanding our existing Workday Adaptive Planning configuration.
• Working with the current implementation partner before they roll off.
• Meeting with business users to understand planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.
• Supporting post-implementation transition, stabilization, enhancements, and ongoing support.
• Reviewing Adaptive models, sheets, formulas, assumptions, dashboards, and reports.
• Identifying gaps in configuration, documentation, process, or business adoption.
• Helping document current setup, support procedures, reporting logic, and enhancement needs.
• Supporting Finance/FP&A and business teams with system questions, updates, and improvements.
• Acting as the bridge between business users, implementation partner, and technical teams.
