Demonstrates excellent communication skills and has a customer focused mindset.
Experience creating and using delivery metrics, predictability, and forecasting.
Given appropriate data, can create (and draw conclusions from) a forecast and communicate that information to stakeholders with progress updates and metrics.
Responsibilities include partnering with Jira/ADO admin to ensure our work tracking and feedback systems are configured effectively particularly to Defect Management. Partner with our Agile coaches to determine the right instrumentation for our teams to gain more awareness and drive improvement of agile processes.
Ability to analyze data and prepare recommended actions items across velocity, quality, the pipeline, testing metrics. Ability to define & analyze metric across both scope & teams to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with the various PMO teams to keep operational metrics timely and relevant.
Partner with the Solution/Release Train Engineers to ensure timely and objective status on project execution.
Assemble/prepare various operational metrics for business leaders to drive informed decision making.
Any number of other high value, high impact activities or projects targeted at improving our operational efficiency/effectiveness.
Regularly leverage your experience and analytical skills to add perspective and value to the above.
Mocking up what the views should look like, defining logic for the metrics, preparing the PPT presentations.
Professional experience includes 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst using PowerBI and SQL within the IT field. 4+ years in software / application development organizations. 2+ years experience with Jira, Jira Align and ADO Reporting skills using Jira reporting (JQL), ADO Query, Analytics Views. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
