Developer II - Software Engineering

Location:

Georgia

Compensation Range

$62,000 - $93,000 per year

The opportunity:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Looker dashboards, LookerML models, and KPI frameworks to support business objectives.
  • Write complex and optimized queries using SQL, Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and PySpark for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality metrics, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive resolution of data issues.
  • Use Python for:
    • Data analysis and transformation
    • Data validation and reconciliation
    • Basic automation and scripting
  • Work within the Big Data ecosystem including Spark, Hadoop, PySpark, Kafka.
  • Track requirements, defects, and enhancements using JIRA and HP ALM.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in SQL (Advanced SQL)
  • Proficiency in Python and Py Spark
  • Hands‑on experience with Looker (LookerML), Power BI, and Tableau
  • Strong understanding of KPI design and business metrics
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake
  • Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architectures
  • Strong data quality, data reconciliation, and validation skills
  • Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
  • Cloud exposure across Azure, AWS (Glue, S3, Redshift), GCP (Big Query, Google Data Studio)
  • Knowledge of databases:
    Azure SQL DB, SQL Server, MySQL, Big Query, Teradata, Redshift
  • Operating systems:
    Linux and Windows
  • Dev Ops & tools:
    Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, CI/CD pipelines
  • Project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM
  • Experience supporting enterprise or client‑facing analytics programs
  • Strong ability to work with cross‑functional technical and business teams
  • Experience in offshore‑onsite delivery models
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
