We are seeking a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to support the firm’s AI Development Platform, enabling engineering teams to build and deploy cutting-edge GenAI solutions. - Duration: Long-Term Contract
- Work Authorization: W2 Only (No C2C / No Third-Party Vendors)
The ideal candidate should have:
- 4–6 years as a Technical Project Manager or Agile Delivery Manager
- Recent experience as a Scrum Master
- Strong expertise with Jira (Roadmunk is a plus)
- Experience managing dependencies, blockers, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority
- Experience supporting platform/engineering teams rather than business implementations
- Exposure to GenAI, AI/ML, cloud, data platforms, or infrastructure
- Experience in financial services
- Lead delivery efforts for enterprise AI Development Platform initiatives supporting firmwide GenAI capabilities.
- Remove blockers, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure Agile teams remain focused on delivery.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
- Partner closely with Product Owners and Technical Leads to improve backlog quality, planning accuracy, and delivery predictability.
- Track project health using JIRA
, Roadmunk
, dashboards, and Agile metrics. - Provide leadership visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Maintain project documentation and stakeholder communications in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Drive continuous improvement while introducing Agile best practices pragmatically.
- 4–6+ years of Technical Project Management and/or Scrum Master experience.
- Expertise with JIRA and Agile delivery tracking tools.
- Experience managing cross-team dependencies and removing delivery impediments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- Experience working across multiple engineering and business organizations.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI), AI platforms, data infrastructure, or cloud-based technology environments.
- Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning, or GenAI platform initiatives.
- Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
- Experience leading Agile transformation or improving Agile maturity.
- Familiarity with Roadmunk or similar roadmap management tools.
- Work on enterprise-scale Generative AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with highly skilled engineering, product, and AI platform teams.
- Gain exposure to next-generation AI technologies within a global financial institution.
