Infrastructure Project Manager

Contract: Long-Term (12+ Months with Extension Potential)

Compensation: $35–45/hour (W2)

We're seeking experienced IT Infrastructure Project Managers to support multiple enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives for a large global organization. These long-term contract opportunities offer the chance to lead high-impact technology projects focused on automation, infrastructure transformation, and enterprise platform modernization.

This role is ideal for project managers who thrive in fast-paced enterprise environments and enjoy coordinating cross-functional technical teams while driving projects from planning through successful implementation.

• Lead multiple IT infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource plans.
• Coordinate activities across infrastructure, cloud, networking, systems administration, security, and application teams.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate status updates to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on schedule.
• Ensure project documentation, change management, and governance standards are maintained.
• Partner with engineering teams supporting infrastructure automation and modernization initiatives.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall project health using established project management methodologies.
• Support enterprise initiatives involving infrastructure automation, configuration management, cloud technologies, and platform deployments.

• 3+ years of IT Project Management experience leading infrastructure or enterprise technology projects.
• Experience managing server, cloud, networking, data center, or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
• Familiarity with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Terraform, Red Hat Open Shift, or cloud infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting automation, configuration management, or enterprise infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• PMP certifications are a plus.
