AI Conversational Designer

Senior Lead Conversational Designer – Generative AI & LLM Experiences

AGM Tech Solutions is partnering with a direct client to find a Senior Lead Conversational Designer who can help shape the future of AI-powered user experiences.

This isn't your typical chatbot design role. We need someone who has designed and scaled conversational experiences where AI dynamically generates responses — not predetermined flows. You'll define how LLMs behave, sound, and respond at scale, balancing creativity with consistency, safety, and business goals.

What you'll do:

• Design conversation strategies for probabilistic, LLM-powered systems
• Build prompts, guardrails, and response frameworks that improve consistency and quality
• Partner with Product, UX, Engineering, and AI Platform teams to shape AI strategy
• Evaluate and optimize LLM performance through testing and iteration
• Present recommendations directly to senior stakeholders and executive leadership

What you bring:

• 8+ years in Conversational Design, UX Writing, Content Design, or related fields
• 3–5+ years designing conversational experiences specifically with Generative AI/LLMs
• Deep understanding of deterministic vs. probabilistic conversational design
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Meta Llama, or similar (a plus)
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Location:

Alpharetta, GA preferred. Open to candidates in NJ/NY, and exceptional remote candidates considered.
