LMS Instructional Design

Lazlo is seeking a Instructional Design Contractor responsible for developing educational content tailored for online learning platforms (LMSs). Position is based in Alpharetta at our corporate headquarters. This role involves administrating and creating engaging and informative materials that enhance the learning experience for users. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days per week in office. Drug and background checks are required.

Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, education, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years experience in LMS instructional design or educational technology is required.

Responsible for creating and managing educational content that facilitates learning through (LMSs) digital platforms. This role requires a blend of writing skills and technical knowledge to ensure that complex information is presented clearly and effectively.

Content creation includes the creation of new hire onboarding channels, user manuals, guides, and tutorials for Lazlo products and services for internal and external users.

• Create clear and concise instructional materials that simplify complex concepts.
• Create multimedia content, including videos and infographics, to enhance learning.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Review and edit existing content for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Utilize multimedia elements such as videos, graphics, and interactive activities to enhance learning.
• Upload and organize content within the LMS to ensure a user-friendly experience.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks spanning across multiple business units/practice areas.

• Proficiency in using LMS platforms, specifically Zensai Learn
  365, a plus and content management applications.
• Familiarity with authoring tools and software for creating digital content.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence and SharePoint a plus.
