Upgrade Support Representative

Position: Application Upgrade Support Representative
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is hiring a customer facing Application Upgrade Support Representative to support our industry leading Industrial Printing client iin Alpharetta, GA. They produce the industry's best digital presses used for printing product labels, photos, calendars, personalized items, year books, magazines, and more. Each press is controlled by a server and proprietary software to manage the print jobs. This team focuses on keeping those servers updated with the latest OS and software versions.

While these installations are doing 100% remotely, you will be communicating directly with our large industrial customers and their IT departments.

Responsibilities:

* Work with our customers to plan and schedule upgrades. This requires excellent communication and organizational skills

* Ensure all the preliminary work has been done by the customer before beginning

Perform a number of OS & SW upgrades:

* Upgrade to Windows Server 2019

* Upgrade workstations from Windows 7 to Windows 10

* Install Production Pro line of proprietary software

* Update Service NOW with details of the upgrades

* Share issues, resolutions, and ideas with the team

REQUIREMENTS:

* 2+ years of strong experience working with servers

* Experiencing upgrading servers and PCs

* Exceptional customer skills, especially in writing.

* Fluent in English

* Super responsible individual

* Able to follow directions closely

* Possesses good judgement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
