Business Process Support Consultant

Avanos Medical seeks a Business Process Support Consultant to optimize and support core healthcare operations. In this role, you will analyze end-to-end business processes, document workflows, and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance across pain management and chronic care product lines. You will configure and support process-related systems, develop SOPs, and create dashboards and reports for business stakeholders. Partnering with clinical, supply chain, finance, and IT teams, you'll lead requirements gathering, manage small to mid-size improvement projects, coordinate user acceptance testing, and train end users on new or updated processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document end-to-end business processes across clinical and commercial functions
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance
• Configure and support business process and workflow tools in collaboration with ITDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation
• Create dashboards and reports to monitor performance and metrics
• Gather and translate business requirements for process and system enhancements
• Lead and support small to mid-size process improvement projects
• Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing for new processes and tools
• Train and support end users on updated workflows, systems, and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with patient safety and regulatory standards
