Scrum Master/Agile Coach

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in Agile environments, demonstrating a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices. This role is pivotal in guiding teams through the Agile transformation process, ensuring effective implementation of Scrum practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, practices, and values to enhance their performance and productivity.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to reflect on their processes and outcomes.
• Support the organization in Agile transformation initiatives, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Measure and report on team performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies.

Mandatory

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proven track record of successfully coaching teams in Agile practices.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Experience in conflict resolution and team dynamics.

Preferred

Skills:

• Experience with other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Lean, or SAFe.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP Client), or equivalent.
• Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in project management or Agile coaching roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse teams.
