Supply Chain Manager

$90,000 - $110,000/year

Are you ready to lead procurement strategy for a growing architectural products business? Trulite is looking for a strategic Supply Chain Manager to join our team!

The Supply Chain Manager will lead procurement operations for our Architectural Products division, overseeing a team of buyers who manage tactical purchasing across 30+ locations. This role will drive cost optimization initiatives and cultivate strategic supplier partnerships that support our continued growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of buyers responsible for day-to-day purchasing activities
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards
  • Build team capabilities through coaching, training, and succession planning
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across all locations
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for aluminum, hardware, various indirect categories, and related materials
  • Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding processes
  • Negotiate master agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive standardization and consolidation of purchasing across locations
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews
  • Manage supplier issues, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure supply continuity and develop contingency plans for critical materials
  • Collaborate with suppliers on innovation, quality improvements, and cost reduction
  • Develop and achieve annual cost savings targets
  • Identify and execute cost reduction and avoidance opportunities
  • Analyze total cost of ownership across the supply base
  • Track, report, and validate savings initiatives
  • Implement inventory management strategies to balance service levels with carrying costs
  • Establish appropriate stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock parameters
  • Reduce excess and obsolete inventory across all locations
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve demand planning and forecasting
  • Monitor DIO (days inventory outstanding) and working capital metrics
  • Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and compliance
  • Leverage ERP and procurement systems to drive visibility and control
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven insights
  • Partner with operations, finance, quality, and sales teams
  • Support new location openings and business expansion initiatives
  • Provide supply chain expertise for strategic business decisions
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership on supply chain performance

SKILLS YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the Heavy Glass and/or Architectural Aluminum space as an estimator, project manager, or technical lead
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with experience in cost savings and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
