Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Supply Chain & Logistics
Are you passionate about international trade, product classification, and customs compliance? Do you enjoy solving complex challenges while working across engineering, supply chain, and global business functions?
ANDRITZ is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst - Product Classification & Customs Compliance to join our North American Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will help ensure the accurate classification of products supporting global import and export activities while contributing to compliance across a complex manufacturing and engineering environment.
This is a unique opportunity to build expertise in international trade regulations, customs compliance, and classification strategies while partnering with teams across North America and around the world.
What You'll Do- Classify products using:
- Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
- Harmonized System (HS) Codes
- Schedule B Classifications
- Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs)
- Support import and export compliance activities across North American operations
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Trade Compliance teams
- Research and maintain product classifications for new and existing products
- Assist with customs compliance initiatives, broker management, and audit support
- Analyze trade-related data and identify opportunities for process improvements
Support compliance with import/export regulations, Free Trade Agreements, and Incoterms - Maintain classification records and supporting documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in:
- Customs Compliance
- Product Classification
- Import/Export Compliance
- International Trade Operations
- Working knowledge of:
- HTS Classification
- HS Codes
- Schedule B Classification
- ECCN Classification
- Import & Export Regulations
- Incoterms
- Free Trade Agreements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) experience
- Customs or trade compliance certifications
- Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-based business experience
- Experience with Power BI, Access, or other reporting and analytics tools
