Building Engineer

Rate: $27.00- $30.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management seeks a Building Engineer for one office building and two retail properties in Alpharetta, Georgia. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising all mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and other operational programs to protect and maximize the operating efficiency of the properties. In addition, provide prompt and courteous service to tenant requests and maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in high-rise office buildings, retail, hotels, apartments or senior care facilities. Must have knowledge of commercial HVAC including cooling tower, water treatment, and large tonnage chiller maintenance. Furthermore, requires on-call duty for after-hours emergencies every day. Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, and or SMT/SMA designation preferred. Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Work Days: Monday – Friday; on-call every day for after-hours emergencies
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid Georgia Driver’s License
