We are looking for a Custodian to support our EMI team located in Alpharetta, GA.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout production, office, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste per facility procedures
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and locker areas daily
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, equipment exteriors, and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and doors as needed
• Restock paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies
• Perform minor building maintenance tasks (replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures) and report larger repair needs
• Maintain outdoor walkways, entrances, and parking areas, including sweeping and litter removal
• Follow safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, pressure washers)
• Respond promptly to spills or safety hazards on the shop floor
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or landscaping upkeep, as needed
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

• High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic reading and math skills for reading labels and mixing cleaning solutions safely

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying indoor/outdoor temperatures
• Work performed in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and machinery
• May require occasional work at heights (using a ladder) with proper safety precautions
