We have an exciting opportunity in El Cajon, CA for our Quality department, working day shift Monday-Friday.
POSITION TITLE:
Quality Coordinator
- Responsible for managing ISO documentation and compliance but still performs active specialist tasks. Reports to Plant Operations Manager.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS and ensuring ongoing ISO 9001 certification.
- Planning and conducting internal audits and serving as the primary liaison for external certification audits 01 certification.
- Conducting inspections, performing product tests, and analyzing data to identify trends or defects.
- Managing the nonconformity and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
- Overseeing the lifecycle of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality records.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to calculate measurements.
- Ability to compute rates, ratio, percent and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
