Job Title:
Assembler
The role involves reading technical drawings and assembling equipment such as power distribution units, static transfer switches, energy storage systems, and other integrated products.
Responsibilities- Assemble complete products or subassemblies to specifications by understanding and following electrical schematics, CAD models, part drawings, and bills of material.
- Interpret standard documentation and techniques and apply to custom applications based on existing products.
- Create point-to-point control and power wiring based on schematics, which could include crimping, soldering, and the creation of wiring harnesses.
- Electrically assemble new variants of existing products, including minor mechanical assembly.
- Understand and apply best practices for electro-static discharge handling requirements where needed.
- Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections.
- Identify any missing parts from assemblies.
- Assembly experience
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
- Skilled in soldering and crimping
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Ability to use tape measures accurately
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical or electro-mechanical diploma from a Community College or equivalent is an asset
- Knowledgeable in the use of common hand tools and portable power tools such as drills and impact drivers

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
