Confidential Opportunity – SMT & Electronics Manufacturing Operator

Location: Greater Atlanta Area, Georgia

Industry: Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)

A leading electronics manufacturer is seeking an experienced SMT & Back-End Operator to support high-volume PCB assembly and electronic manufacturing operations. You’ll work with advanced SMT equipment, automated inspection systems, testing equipment, and a range of electronic assembly processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities SMT Operations
  • Operate SMT equipment including Screen Printers, Pick & Place Machines, Reflow Ovens, and AOI systems
    .
  • Load and replenish feeders and components.
  • Monitor production, identify defects, perform line changeovers, and support machine setup and troubleshooting.
Quality & AOI
  • Operate AOI equipment and review inspection results.
  • Identify defects, support rework activities, and maintain quality standards.
  • Document and segregate defective materials.
PCB Assembly & Testing
  • Support PCB assembly, soldering, rework, and wave solder operations.
  • Perform ICT and functional testing.
  • Assist with final assembly, packaging, and shipping while ensuring customer quality standards are met.
Documentation
  • Complete production records, quality documentation, and manufacturing logs.
  • Record production output, downtime, and quality metrics.
Ideal Background
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or electronics production experience.
  • Knowledge of SMT processes, PCB assembly, ESD procedures, and quality standards
    .
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred
  • AOI inspection.
  • PCB testing, soldering, or rework experience.
  • Spanish language skills are beneficial.
