About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator to join our manufacturing team in Douglasville, GA. In this role, you will operate waterjet cutting equipment to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering blueprints and production specifications. You will also perform secondary machining operations while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate waterjet cutting equipment to cut raw materials according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform secondary machining operations as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing prints accurately.
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and production requirements.
  • Use manufacturing software to issue materials, complete production routing, and monitor upcoming work.
  • Identify production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors promptly.
  • Move and handle materials safely throughout the production process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing routine housekeeping duties.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Perform other duties assigned by production leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating waterjet or CNC manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment.
