We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing to support manufacturing operations for our warehouse automation and robotic systems. This role is responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, workstation layouts, tooling and fixtures, production capacity, and standardized work.
The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, resolve production issues, support new product introduction and mass production, and ensure manufacturing processes are safe, scalable, and efficient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
- Design and optimize production workstations, assembly layouts, production lines, and material flow to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
- Evaluate, design, and implement tooling, fixtures, jigs, and other manufacturing aids required for assembly and production.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, assembly, tooling, and process issues on the production floor and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, and mass production, ensuring products can be manufactured efficiently and consistently.
- Conduct production capacity planning, evaluate manufacturing capacity, identify constraints, and develop capacity plans based on production demand.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and apply Industrial Engineering (IE) and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize process flow.
- Conduct time studies and establish, maintain, and continuously improve standard labor hours and production cycle times.
- Maintain standard and optional working-hour data within ERP and other manufacturing systems and establish a reliable standard-time database.
- Analyze and improve production line balance, takt time, cycle time, labor utilization, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and implement process, equipment, tooling, or workstation improvements.
- Support mechanical assembly verification and evaluate manufacturability of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to address product non-conformities, assembly challenges, and design-for-manufacturing opportunities.
- Develop and track manufacturing performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other engineering and manufacturing responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline;
