CNC Machinist
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills. You will machine components following blueprints, routings, and standard work while ensuring precise inspection using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Additionally, you will make basic CNC program adjustments and tool changes as needed.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills.
- Machine components according to blueprints, routings, and standard work procedures.
- Inspect parts using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Perform basic CNC program adjustments and tool changes.
- Conduct setups and change overs independently.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform programming and adjustments as required.
- 2-5 years of experience with CNC machines, including setups and change overs.
- Ability to perform own setups and tooling setups.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of GD&T and G-code programming.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including troubleshooting and programming.
Skills & Qualifications
- Haas experience is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an industrial, non-climate controlled, and dusty machine shop environment. It is a large plant where you will be on your feet all day. The physical nature of the job requires working from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with most Fridays included.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, Georgia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
