This role sits with the Product Marketing department within the Global marketing team, looking after the product marketing of a suite of CAD/CAM and Production Software solutions.
Functional Summary
The Product Marketing Manager represents a suite of products within the marketing organization. It is the responsibility of the PMM to know their products, capabilities, benefits as well as the typical customer well. It is their responsibility to develop and execute the Product Marketing Strategy and plans for the product suite and be the ‘product expert’ within the marketing organization, advising the rest of the marketing organization on where and how to position your products both internally and externally.
Work in collaboration with internal team members and external agencies to develop marketing collateral, including brochures, videos, web content, promotional flyers, web and email marketing, and trade shows.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for your product suite including product launches (GTM) and ongoing promotion.
- Work closely with the global demand generation team to ensure that your products’ capabilities are included in the global industry campaigns.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. This will include a thorough understanding customer personas and the needs of resellers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure alignment and drive product success.
- Create compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates with target audiences.
- Create appropriate sales enablement materials to help our sales teams position and sell our products to the intended personas and industries.
- Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and digital content including the maintenance of product pages on the Hexagon website.
- Plan and create marketing campaigns that can be executed regionally across various channels (e.g., email, social media, events).
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
- Monitor and report on product performance metrics and KPIs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies.
- Provide marketing and solution information to regional marketing & sales teams to support internal and external marketing programs, sales operations, marketing events such as conferences, trade shows and webinars, and channel opportunities and activities.
- Assist with increasing visibility on social media platforms.
Organizational Relationships
- Solid line reports to the Director of Product Marketing – Production Software
- Works together with other Hexagon Production Software departments and cross functional project teams as required.
Education
- Bachelor degree in a marketing or business related field.
- Experience with CAD/CAM or CNC programming, or general manufacturing preferred but not necessary
Professional experience and other requirements
- Available for occasional international travel (up to 10% of time).
- 5+ years in a B2B or industrial product marketing role for a leading software company
- Comfortable working in an international environment
- Track record of successfully bringing new products to market internationally.

- Experience developing and executing product marketing strategies that support global expansion plans.
