Overview
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will develop product marketing strategy and lead execution for key product categories at Hisense USA. This role owns the end-to-end GTM process, from product strategy and positioning to launch execution and performance tracking. They will work very closely with HQ, sales, brand and channel marketing, PR, training, and e-commerce. This is a senior individual contributor role with strong influence across teams, responsible for shaping product narratives, driving launch excellence, and ensuring Hisense products win at retail and with consumers.
Duties & Responsibilities- Define product roles, positioning, and feature hierarchy for assigned categories.
- Translate R&D and HQ product direction into clear, compelling market strategies.
- Develop product narratives that resonate with U.S. consumers and retail partners.
- Own competitive analysis and differentiation strategy.
- Lead planning for new product introductions (NPI) across all channels for assigned categories.
- Partner with HQ to align on model timing, feature sets, and readiness milestones.
- Create launch frameworks, messaging architecture, and core product toolkits.
- Ensure consistent messaging across packaging, PDPs, training, PR, and retail.
- Work closely with:
- Channel Marketing on retail programs and exclusives.
- Ecommerce on PDP content and optimization.
- Training on field and sales enablement.
- PR and Influencer teams on review and seeding strategy.
- Sales on merchant alignment and line reviews.
- Implement and manage NPI timelines, tools, and processes for launch excellence.
- Track readiness across assets, reviews, training, and channel execution.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Identify risks early and drive solutions.
- Define KPIs for product and launch performance.
- Monitor sell-through, reviews, retailer performance, and content effectiveness.
- Use data and insights to refine messaging, positioning, and future launches.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in consumer electronics or CPG.
- Strong leadership, consumer insights, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of marketing principles, GTM strategies, and channel marketing dynamics.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online marketplaces, and digital marketing strategies.
- Deep understanding of U.S. retail and ecommerce landscape.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Consumer electronics or technology industry background.
- Experience working with global HQ teams.
- Experience supporting major retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, etc.).
