Job Summary:
The Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) provides general nursing care to infants and newborns in the hospital. The RN administers prescribed medications, prepares equipment, aids physicians during examinations, observes patient conditions, records vital signs, and reports significant incidents to supervisors or physicians. The RN may rotate among various clinical services and assist with sterile instrumentation and supply preparation.

The Nursery Registered Nurse (RN) provides overall nursing care to patients in the hospital, administers prescribed medications and treatments, prepares equipment, assists physicians, observes patient conditions, records vital signs, and notifies supervisors or physicians of patient status and any significant incidents. The RN may rotate among various clinical services as staffing needs dictate, and may prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for physicians or other medical practitioners.
Qualifications- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
1 year experience required.
