Georgia Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre OP PACU RN, PRN.

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating the patient's condition, and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. The RN may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and sterile techniques. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred
