Overview

Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking a Per Diem Weekend CNA to join its Home Care Aide team. This is a per diem, weekend position with travel to patients’ private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of Metro West. A CAR is required for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hospice client care within the scope of practice and in accordance with the plan of care outlined by the Nursing Care Coordinator and Good Shepherd Community Care guidelines.
Schedule

Every weekend. Flexible with no specific length of shifts.

Education, Skills and Experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts with a minimum of 75 hours of clinical study, including classroom training and at least 16 hours of supervised practical training.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Professional, reliable, organized, and possesses effective communication skills.
  • Understands the importance of delivering quality service and compassionate end-of-life care for clients.

Pay Range

$20 - $23/hr this reflects an average starting range; actual pay is determined by experience, education, certifications, and skills and may exceed the range.
