As a Infectious Disease Coordinator within East Central Public Health District, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Starting Salary $65,000.00

Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner and leaders encourages all employees to engage in regular wellness activities and to make lifestyle choices that promote health and well-being. • Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.

• Cares for population with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
• Identifies high risk populations and tailors interventions based on the needs of the population and resources available.
• Provides treatments, administers medications/vaccines, and provides preventative maintenance care to patient/families consistent with care plan and/or physician treatment plan;
• Screens and refers clients to other community service providers
• Provides clinical services to target population, including DOT
• Applies principals of population health to practice;
• Conducts comprehensive assessments of client's healthcare needs
