9/80 – 80 hours worked every 14 days with every other Friday off.
Ensure delivery of quality parts from supply base. Monitor and maintain necessary metrics, procedures, and controls to assure compliance/conformance to regulatory, customer, and company requirements. Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve part issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Essential Functions- Coordinate and track containment, root cause, and proper corrective and preventive actions on non-conformances and customer returns with supply base.
- Interface with customers and program personnel.
- Review, understand, and ensure communication of quality flow-down requirements to the supply base.
- Ensure Supplier First Article Inspections are accurate and per AS9102 standards prior to approval.
- Perform audits in support of onboarding new suppliers or proactive surveillance audits for critical suppliers.
- Analyze supplier performance and develop improvement plans for identified problem areas to drive down supplier COPQ and nonconformance rates.
- Manage KPI data and metrics using existing tools – report functional performance to leadership on a monthly basis.
- Represent Material Review Board / Engineering Change Notice review.
- Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system.
- Employ mistake-proofing techniques with supply base.
- Implement thorough RFQ and PO reviews with supply chain, quality, and engineering prior to awarding supplier POs.

Harris Ethics Standards and safety rules and regulations. - Travel ability (typically around 25%) and onsite support in Alpharetta facility when not traveling.
- Obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Aerospace/Defense parts manufacturing or Automotive parts manufacturing.
- Knowledgeable of concepts, practices, policies/procedures in engineering.
- Working knowledge of basic quality concepts and tools (i.e., 8D, 5 Why, etc.).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Excellent team player with ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Interact effectively with management, peers, and other employees relative to quality and technical issues.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- ASQ certification (CQE, CQA).
- Six Sigma Green Belt.
