Quality Supervisor

We're seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead quality operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring teams, solving problems, and collaborating across departments to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance.

• Lead and supervise day-to-day quality assurance operations.
• Manage and develop a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
• Oversee inspections, testing activities, quality monitoring, and documentation review prior to product release.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and quality system initiatives.
• Lead investigations related to non-conformances, customer complaints, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Analyze manufacturing and quality processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive process optimization initiatives focused on improving product quality, reducing waste, and increasing efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, scrap rates, and process capability.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process validation activities and root cause investigations.

• Train, coach, and mentor quality personnel.
• Ensure employees are properly trained on work instructions, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in creating and updating SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate staffing and workload distribution to ensure adequate quality coverage.

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing, military, regulated, or highly controlled environment.
• 1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting audits, investigations, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Net Suite experience is a plus.

• Post-secondary education in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies, including:
• 5S
• Value Stream Mapping
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process improvement initiatives.
