We are seeking an inventory clerk to receive inventory, post invoices and handle shipments to customers. This could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Competence
Be orderly, organized, results-oriented, quickly responsive, and able to coordinate work. Must handle advanced technology tools (MS Office and Inventory Management Systems). Be competent, based on appropriate education, training, or experience in overall performance
- Proficient in inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively with customers and other team members according to deadlines
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for communicating internally and in relation with the customer
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- The work environment is a typical office and manufacturing floor environment.
- Physical demands are representative of those an employee will encounter while performing the functions of this position, including heavy lifting.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in inventory management and shipping required
Functions & Scope
- Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Check for damages or discrepancies in received items.
- Inventory Management
- Record and update inventory in the system to maintain accuracy.
- Post receipts and update inventory in the accounting system.
- Order Processing
- Pack and ship orders to customers promptly and accurately.
- Generate invoices for customers based on shipping orders.
- Inventory Control
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory discrepancies or issues.
- Workspace Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient operations.
- Project Management
- Work within project constraints, including scope, budget, and timeline, for assigned tasks.
- Follow all procedures and work instructions as defined in the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
