Store Associate

Overview

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store Associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. They are also expected to promptly resolve customer concerns and ensure client satisfaction, stay up-to-date with product features, maintain high quality and visual standards of the products and store, and consistently meet the store’s sales goals.

• Assist customers by identifying needs and recommending appropriate Sherwin-Williams products and solutions.
• Answer questions about products, features, and capabilities.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to maximize satisfaction.

• Deliver excellent customer service while contributing to the store’s sales goals.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value. The company may review criminal history to protect its operations, safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public.
