Overview

Pur Tera IT helps large, complex organizations execute physical + network work with speed, consistency, and confidence. We deliver structured cabling, network integrations, and field technician services using a modernized workflow that keeps projects accurate, trackable, and repeatable—especially when the scope is national, multi-site, or time-sensitive.

As a Business Development Representative, you will generate new business by prospecting into organizations with regional and national footprints. You will create pipeline, run discovery, and close early-stage and mid-sized opportunities while building the foundation for larger, multi-site rollout engagements. This role is ideal for a developing hunter who wants exposure to complex infrastructure sales and a clear path into enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect into target accounts using outbound calls, email, Linked In, events, and referrals
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and convert them into active opportunities
  • Run discovery to understand scope, timelines, site complexity, and standards
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to scope solutions and support rollout planning
  • Close transactional and mid-sized deals that expand into larger opportunities
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline, and forecasting in Hub Spot
What You Will Sell
  • Structured cabling services for new builds and upgrades
  • Network integrations and refresh projects
  • Field technician services including installs, dispatch, and break-fix support
Qualifications
  • 1–5+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong outbound component
  • Comfortable selling to technical and operational stakeholders
  • Strong communication, discovery, and follow-up skills
  • Organized, process-driven, and disciplined with CRM usage
  • Experience with multi-site or technical sales preferred
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of $75,000
  • On-target earnings of $150,000+ with uncapped commissions
