Overview: This individual will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives. You will be an integral part of the success for both our customers and sales team by performing technical discovery qualification, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, and facilitating product adoption and technical enablement.
Your Tasks- Lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations effectively
- Providefirstlevel technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle for opportunities
- Develop relationships with key clients and partners, understand their environment, and introduce new concepts to solve problems
- Effectively position our technology against competitive industry market
- Representourproductsand brand at field events such as industry and user conferences, tech summits,trade shows,etc.
- Translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Improveanddevelop technical documentation tohelp our clients betterunderstandour products and services
- Work cross functionally with Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams
- Provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFIs
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Professional Services when necessary
- Willingness to travel 30-50% in the domestic US, and occasionally outside of the US
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or sales fields
- 3+ years of technical sales or sales engineering experience
- Strong presentation skills and presence in front of customers
- Balanced sales and technical acumen
- Ability to establish and maintain trust with clients
- Ability to influence key decision makers and technical stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for problem solving and a roll up your sleeves to get things done attitude
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (Salesforce) and project management (Jira/Smartsheet) software
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience/background in controls is a plus
- Experience/background working with large global accounts is a plus
