Community Sales Managers; CSMT

Job Description Summary

We are seeking Community Sales Managers (CSM's) to join our dynamic sales force. Whether you are a seasoned home sales professional or new to the industry, we provide the tools and training you need to excel. All Community Sales Managers start as Community Sales Managers in Training (CSMT) to master the Taylor Morrison way, with training durations ranging from 2 weeks to a full year.

We look for motivated individuals ready to grow with us and deliver exceptional customer experiences in the home‑buying process.

As a Community Sales Manager in Training (CSMT), you will:

• Participate in training sessions to gain knowledge about our homes, communities, finance as a sales tool, purchase agreements, and utilizing CRM for prospecting.
• Shadow experienced Community Sales Managers to observe best practices and gain practical insights.
• Complete assigned reading materials, online courses, and other training activities to enhance sales skills.
• Learn product and feature details, understand how offerings meet customer needs, and articulate value propositions.
• Master sales techniques including prospecting, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing deals.
• Develop negotiation skills and effective communication to secure favorable outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, follow up on prospects, address inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and use CRM tools to track interactions.
• Participate in regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions, set personal development goals, and track progress.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active real estate license required where applicable by state.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer.
• High level of organizational and documentation skills.
• Customer‑service oriented; believes the customer is number one priority.
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

• Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule.
• Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer or electronic device.
• Conduct face‑to‑face conversations with customers, co‑workers, and higher‑level managers.
• Sit or stand for long periods and move around the work environment as needed.
• Operate a motor vehicle if applicable.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

This position is considered a non‑exempt position for purposes of wage‑hour law, meaning a time record is required and overtime pay is applicable where appropriate.
