Regional Sales Manager, Interventional Pain – West Coast
Region:
West Coast – Covering:
California, Nevada, Southern Oregon.
- Coach, teach and develop team to achieve fiscal and strategic objectives.
- Provide coaching and development to assess strengths and weaknesses of each employee.
- Develop, monitor and adjust robust territory business plans.
- Communicate with the regional sales team weekly (conference calls, performance reviews).
- Conduct field ride‑along visits (2 days per week with territory manager / 1 day with sales associate and clinical specialists).
- Utilize tools, reports and analyses from analytics team and
- Report business results, risks, gap analyses and budget adherence to senior management.
- Monitor and report to marketing / sales management on issues affecting the region.
- Recruit, screen and hire sales personnel; collaborate with HR for onboarding and off‑boarding.
- Provide feedback to quality & regulatory teams.
- Manage contract strategy and local buying group accounts.
- Train and educate team on healthcare compliance, quality & regulatory rules, credentialing and corporate policies.
- Maintain administrative responsibilities (business reports, performance reviews, expense reports).
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least five years of demonstrated success in medical device sales.
- At least two years of medical device sales management.
- Strong leadership qualities.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Extensive in‑field travel required.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Medical device sales experience.
- At least eight years in the medical device industry.
- Experience in orthopedics and/or surgical specialties.
- Hands‑on approach to sales strategy and execution.
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing talent.
- Team player willing to go above and beyond.
- Positive, professional attitude.
- proficiency.
- Strong presentation, persuasion and closing skills.
- Superior work ethic and high energy level.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $ – $. The role is also eligible for an incentive compensation program and benefits.
