We are looking for a driven, curious, and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to serve as Docufree’s first point of contact for inbound and outbound prospects. You will support the sales and marketing team by qualifying new opportunities and driving them to the front of the sales funnel. Exploring fit, applying qualification criteria, and setting our sales team up to win.
Because we sell a sophisticated software platform across three solution areas;
Scan Cloud for capture, Document Cloud for content management, and Automate Cloud for intelligent automation. This role requires someone who can quickly learn the platform, speak credibly to business and technical buyers in regulated industries, and connect Docufree’s capabilities to the outcomes prospects care about. The role reports to sales leadership.
- Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and run targeted outbound prospecting by phone, email, and social into Docufree’s priority industries (financial services, insurance, government and education, healthcare, and legal).
- Identify prospect requirements, pain points, and document-driven process challenges, and map them to the right Docufree solution - Capture (Scan Cloud), management (Document Cloud), or automation (Automate Cloud).
- Follow a clear, defined qualification process to assess fit and readiness before handing opportunities to the sales team.
- Schedule qualified meetings and follow-up activities for account executives, with a clean, well-documented handoff and full context.
- Research target accounts to identify key stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers within complex, multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- Learn and clearly articulate Docufree’s platform and three solution lines, including the value of AI paired with certified human-in-the-loop accuracy for regulated, high cost-of-failure workflows.
- Maintain accurate, disciplined records of all prospect activity, stages, and notes in the CRM (Sales Flow).
- Mine and re-engage existing leads in the CRM for new campaigns and outbound plays.
- Work closely with sales and marketing on campaigns and projects that build pipeline and drive revenue growth.
- Provide weekly updates and forecasts on prospecting activity and new opportunities.
- Continually test messaging and outreach approaches, measure results, and refine your process to improve conversion.
- A quick learner who is curious, goal-oriented, and ambitious, with a strong desire to build a career in sales.
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, and research skills, with the ability to converse confidently and credibly with business professionals.
- Ability to learn a sophisticated software platform and clearly explain its products and solution sets to prospective buyers.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach by phone, email, and social in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills and discipline around CRM data accuracy and activity tracking.
- A creative, test-and-learn mindset: willing to try new approaches, measure results, and iterate for continual improvement.
- 5 or more years of experience in a sales, sales development, lead generation, or customer-facing role, or a proven track record and relevant experience that demonstrates the skills required to succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience selling or qualifying for a B2B SaaS, software, or technology company.
- Familiarity prospecting into regulated industries (financial services, insurance, government and education, healthcare, or legal) or to enterprise, multi-stakeholder buyers.
