The Business Development Specialist role is a full‑time, hybrid position based in the Alpharetta, GA area. The Business Development Specialist will develop and manage a portfolio of client accounts, serve as the primary point of contact, and build strong relationships with new customers. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting sales presentations, preparing quotes and proposals, and guiding clients through custom apparel options and order details.
The role also involves coordinating with internal production, design, and fulfillment teams to ensure accurate order processing, on‑time delivery, and high customer satisfaction. The Business Development Specialist will track sales activity, maintain CRM records, meet revenue and margin targets, and provide ongoing support to clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Client relationship and sales skills, including account management, consultative selling, and customer service experience.
- Business development capabilities, such as prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new opportunities.
- Operational coordination skills, including order management, attention to detail, and ability to work closely with production and fulfillment teams.
- Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and professional presentation abilities.
- Basic familiarity with apparel, printing, or embroidery processes, or a strong interest in learning industry‑specific workflows.
- Comfort using CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and online collaboration platforms).
- Ability to work hybrid in the Alpharetta, GA area, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, account management, or related roles; experience in custom apparel or promotional products is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or relevant experience in a sales‑focused role is preferred, but now required.
