OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Account Executive, you will be working as part of a dynamic team in partnership with our highly motivated technical experts to react to customer requirements and to offer tailored solutions covering a whole portfolio of compliance services. This role will ideally suit a candidate with a technical aptitude, a drive to succeed, and sales exposure within an engineering environment.
The testing will focus upon laboratory-based testing: EMC, RF/Wireless, Product Safety, Cybersecurity disciplines. You will be responsible for solutions-based selling to our client base to ensure that we are providing added value throughout the customer journey.
- Expand the sales territory customer base and achieve assigned targets.
- Manage the entire CRM sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
- Identify and provide solution-based packages from TUV SUD's service portfolio.
- Generate quotations and proposals efficiently using the CRM tool.
- Follow up on quotations to convert them to orders, ensuring all activities are recorded in the CRM.
- Conduct site visits to meet with engineers developing products requiring evaluations and testing.
- Collaborate with technical experts to deliver tailored compliance solutions.
- Experience in laboratory-based product testing within the Test, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, or product qualification using standards (e.g., IEC 60601, IEC 61010, IEC 62368, ISO 14708, FCC, EU RED Wireless Standards).
- Proven track record in Testing/Certification and Compliance services (EMC, RF/Wireless, Product Safety, Global Market Access).
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Excellent communication skills (written, face-to-face, telephone).
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
- Experience or strong understanding of medical device regulatory processes (FDA, EU MDR, etc.).
- Knowledge of medical device project management and design/development processes.
- Understanding of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
