Job Summary:
Caterpillar's Electric Power Division has an open opportunity as a Commercial Manager. The Commercial Manager will act as the key interface between customers, dealers, business development, engineering, and product teams, helping drive quotation development, pricing, solution definition, training, and customer opportunity execution for the Integrated Power Systems portfolio.
What You Will Do:
- Leads commercial and technical sales support for Caterpillar's Engineering Services and Integrated Power Systems business.
- Responsible for developing customer solutions, supporting quotations and pricing, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dealer and customer engagement, delivering training programs, and driving execution of strategic opportunities involving switch gear, controls, microgrids, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and distributed energy solutions.
- Serves as the primary link between customers, dealers, engineering, business development, and product management to ensure successful solution delivery and business growth.

Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. - Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. - Effective Communications:
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. - Relationship Management:
Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Demonstrated capability to manage quotation development, pricing, and commercial strategy.
- Ability to package technical solutions into repeatable commercial offerings.
- Deep understanding of power systems components and applications (switch gear, microgrids, controls, BESS, etc)
Additional Information:
- This position is located in Alpharetta, GA or Irving, TX.
- Travel up to 25% is required.
- Domestic relocation assistance is offered for this position.

- This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
