• Complete risk assessments to develop controls to reduce exposure to different elements.
• Evaluate Forklift and ergonomic activities to reduce risks and implement safeguards against common incidents.
• Perform noise monitoring activities and determine necessary PPE, barriers, and additional risks imposed on the shop floor.
• Review waste program and audit to meet and comply with RCRA regulations and review permits for plant locations to determine non-conformities.
• Understand how to classify waste via RCRA determinations and evaluate non-conformities to produce corrective actions. Present in safety committee meetings.
• Further develop existing safety programs such as Confined Space, Hazardous Material, Fall Protection, and Lock out/Tag out.
• New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures and completing problem analysis.
• Assist managers in the write-up and review of safety documents.

• Education:
  
  Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software Knowledge:
  Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SAP
