Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time – Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM / Sun 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support lobby and reception processes in alignment with site protocols.
- Assist with incident reporting, shift logs, and communication of maintenance, access control, and/or workplace concerns that may impact daily operations.
- Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
