Gatehouse Security Officer

Schedule:

Wednesday - Sunday 3rd shift ( 11pm - 7am )
Must be able to have reliable transportation ( your own vehicle ) to travel to Alpharetta, GA

Pal American Security is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Residential Gate Security Officers to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming community environment.

• Monitor and control access to residential communities and properties.
• Verify and authorize entry and exit of residents, guests, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to identify and prevent security concerns.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and security incidents.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or unauthorized individuals.
• Accurately complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Contact emergency services when necessary and assist during emergency situations.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
• Enforce community access policies and security procedures.

To be considered, candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Own and maintain a reliable smartphone.
• Possess basic computer proficiency and the ability to operate gatehouse systems.
• Have strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Be able to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or gatehouse experience.
• Experience using computer-based visitor management and access control systems.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving and observational skills.
